Generalized results of the fight on corruption in 2007 as reported by the General Prosecutor’s Office 06.03.2008
In 2007 the Prosecutor’s Office bodies continued its purposeful operations in cooperation with law enforcement agencies and other state authorities to counteract corruption and increase the efficiency of public prosecutor's supervision of law compliance in the sphere of the law enforcement activity. As compared with the last year a number of corruption crimes in 2007 went down by 8,9%.  more...

The General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus took part in an international expert workshop held in Vienna (Austria) 05.12.2007
Within the period from 15 to 16 November 2007 a delegation from Belarus took part in the international workshop entitled "Combating incitement to terrorism on Internet". The delegation was made of a representative of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus, head of a department Gennady Vertinsky as well as officials of the State Security Committee and the RUE "Beltelecom".
