Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Konyuk took part in the 15th Meeting of the Prosecutors General of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

On 29 November 2017, in St. Petersburg, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Konyuk and members of the delegation headed by him took part in the 15^th Meeting of the Prosecutors General of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The following issues were discussed at the meeting: prevention and investigation of the crimes committed with the use of information and communication technologies for the purpose of carrying out extremist and terrorist activities, harmonization of legislation in the sphere of combating cybercrime, organization and prompt rendering legal assistance in relevant cases, including by means of establishing direct cooperation with international telecommunications operators, crimes against minors and youth committed with the use of Internet.

During his visit to St. Petersburg, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Konyuk held a bilateral meeting with the Procurator General of the People’s Republic of China Cao Jianming where the leaders of the two offices exchanged best practices of prosecutorial supervision.
